Kitchen & Production Associate (Seasonal)

  • Location: Durango, CO
    Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Compensation: $20/hourly

  • At Farm to Summit we utilize local and imperfect produce to create just-add-hot-water dehydrated meals and lattes that are nutritiously dense, flavor packed, and sustainably packaged. Our meals are prepared in small batches with the aim to reduce waste in our food system while introducing authentic farm fresh flavor into the world of dehydrated meals and giving back to our community.

    We are a small team and are looking to add a key player to our crew. We are a rapidly growing business and are preparing for our busiest year yet. This is where you come in.     Please NOTE: THIS IS A PRODUCTION POSITION. You will be on your feet for the majority of the day, lifting heavy bins (up to 50 lbs), moving quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy, and following batch logs and SOPs precisely.

    Kitchen experience is a plus- but not required. We care more about attitude, work ethic, and how you vibe with our current crew.

    • Kitchen prep work: chop vegetables, weigh ingredients, portion, etc. 
    • Prepare cooked noodles, blanch vegetables, assist with large batch production of meals, load and unload dehydrators. 
    • Wash and maintain kitchen equipment. 
    • Maintain a clean, organized workspace. 
    • Follow SOP and food safety standards. 
    • Weighing, portioning, and packaging meals and lattes
    • Labeling bags
    • Monday thru Thursday,  9AM-5PM 
    • March-November (seasonal)
