Instead, we build this breakfast around buckwheat, a tiny seed that packs a serious nutritional punch. It’s loaded with fiber, protein, and essential nutrients to help keep you energized on the trail. And despite the name, buckwheat isn’t wheat at all—making this meal naturally gluten free.
We keep the sweetness simple and natural. There’s no added sugar here. Instead, the granola is lightly sweetened with banana and date paste, creating a warm, mellow flavor without the sugar crash. Scattered throughout are crunchy locally sourced apple chips, bringing little bursts of sweetness and texture to each bite.
When you add water, everything comes together in a creamy oat milk base, turning the crunchy granola into a perfectly balanced bowl that’s both hearty and refreshing.
